One of the great Irish Shrimp patterns. Particularly good in clearing water for Salmon and Grilse throughout the season. It has its origins in the north of Ireland, birth place of so many patterns that have travelled extensively well throughout Ireland and the U.K.

Curry's Red Shrimp - J.C.Curry's Red Shrimp - J.C. Ref: DF-IRST-0005
The Grand Daddy of all of the Irish Shrimp fly patterns, created by Pat Curry in the early part of the 20th Century, this fly has few equals in medium to slow paced water. With its bright badger hackles and black and red body colours, this fly operates in a variety of water conditions from clear through to heavily spate coloured water. With it's three wound hackles, the fly an be "tiipped" through slower flows where it is extremely effective. The pattern has spawned a myriad of variants and "cousins", some of which has found their own place in the "hall of fame", but none have ever overtaken the Curry's Red as a fish catching pattern throughout a season long spell in the variety of water conditions to be encountered.

Cascade Shadow ShrimpCascade Shadow Shrimp Ref: DF-SHWT-0001
A version of the Ally's Cascade pattern dressed in a more mobile style which will retain its shape in faster flows as well as creating enough movement in slower flows due to the addition of a middle hackle and a small Arctic fox wing. It fishes very well throughout the season in all water conditions, just change the size to suit the water pace and height.
